How many treatments are necessary?
A few different factors come into account when determining how many sessions will be needed, this will be discussed with your technician prior to your treatment. On average we recommend 10-12 sessions on the face and body for permanent results, each session is every 4-6 weeks.
How painful are the treatments?
At MLC we aim to make all our treatments comfortable for all of our patients, this is made possible thanks to our cooling device. The Cryo 6 offers comfort by applying consistent cold airflow to the area being treated- this also decreases the risk of burns as it cools the skin temperature quicker than any other forms of cooling such as ice packs etc…
Preparation:
Please shave the area the night before treatment, if it is your 1st session at MLC please leave a small patch of hair somewhere on the area so that your technician can see the colour and consistency of the hair, this will help us determine laser settings.
What to expect after treatment
Slight redness and swelling are very common symptoms after hair removal, please make sure you are not doing anything that will increase heat in the body for 24hrs after treatment and using aftercare products is a must.
